Brass, with intention.
ELKAI is a modern brass jewellery brand, founded in Dubai by Hridya Nambiar. The name comes from El, meaning "The", and Kai, the golden retriever who inspired it all. It means, simply, "The Kai."
Brass was part of my life long before I made jewellery. I grew up between Oman and Dubai, with family roots in Kerala, where brass was woven into everyday home life. After a career in marketing, my love for brass and my love for animals came together, and ELKAI began.
Each piece is designed to be bold in texture and refined in feeling. They are handcrafted statement pieces, made to be worn often and noticed.
